mot-r wasn’t designed to fit into an existing product category box. What is evidence-based management? Just like evidence-based healthcare, which is working to avoid preventable errors in patient treatment, evidence-based management aims to use the best science available to reduce unnecessary damage in employee effectiveness, customer value and corporate performance.

While the design of our solution is completely unique, there are functional components of mot-r that may be recognizable and they are described below. None of these components are presented as being competitive against enterprise solutions that only focus on only one of these functions. If there is any magic to our solution, it comes from the unique blend of these components to create a compelling whole in support of evidence-based management.
Digital Workflows
mot-r workflows are standardized, automated, technology-driven processes that streamline and manage business tasks, activities, and operations. They digitize traditional paper-based or manual processes, allowing information to flow seamlessly between people, systems, and devices. Process Optimization Tools
Once your workflow processes are operational in mot-r, you’ll have the ability to monitor, analyze and improve each of these transparent activities. We believe “you can’t manage what you can’t see,” so providing a single source of data for each process allows everyone involved to provide input on inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
While many tools can offer insights on your areas for improvement, mot-r is unique in its ability to use that learning to instantly make refinements to your processes. Without waiting for IT, or a certified administrator, business users can make improvements and put them into practice with no downtime and no delay. mot-r enables you to seamlessly transition from internal-only processes to customer-in processes where the customer, supplier or advisor (or all three) can transparently see the work being done, and actively contribute to reduce communication and collaboration time and cost.
Customers and collaborators can also access previous work, documents and data, based on permissions that you can tailor, so questions about “what actions did we take?” and “what documents did we produce” can be answered without unnecessary emails and delays.
Data Analytics, & Real-time Reporting
There is no end of data these days. But data that can easily be transformed into knowledge and action is a rarity. mot-r provides actionable insights that can impact service and effectiveness in real-time as well as forming the basis for making improvements in both the short and long-term.
Collecting, visualizing and processing data in mot-r is optimized for supporting improved, fact-based decision-making, rapid experimentation, and continuous learning and adaptation. Each of these is supported by easy to access and customize reporting tools, as well as opening all of mot-r’s data up to the BI tools of your choice. We aim to provide the 80% solution to common operational questions within a few minutes, but also recognize your operations are unique and may require a different data view than what we offer in our standard reports.
Like all other functions in mot-r, we don’t believe analytics and reporting is useful if it isn’t accessible and usable by normal business users. Even customizing report views can be undertaken by novice users and the underpinning data can be drilled into with only point-and-click skills.
Knowledge Management
Typical Knowledge Management tools facilitate the creation, distribution, and leveraging of knowledge assets across an enterprise, enabling better decision-making, improving efficiency, and fostering innovation. mot-r provides those capabilities with an emphasis on your key processes; those processes that as a department, or enterprise, underpin your value to the client (whether your client is internal or external).
They can be high-volume, high-cost, high-risk, high-value, or a combination of all of them. mot-r isn’t focused on one-time, non-strategic tasks, but on those workflow processes that drive meaningful value and must be iterated and improved over time to respond to changing conditions. And knowledge management focused on those processes and their intersections with your people and customers is critical to continue to learn by doing.
Workload Management
Who is busy? Who isn’t? Busy doing what exactly? Why? What changes should we make to support our people? Those questions, and their answers form the basis for the functionality mot-r provides for Workload Management.
By providing a real-time, transparent, shared source of data, you can drill-down into the work being done and make adjustments to add resources where required and reallocate when necessary.
These changes aren’t automatically made by a borg, but by humans with an understanding of the work being done and what acceptable levels of busyness look like for their team.
Change Management Tools
There is almost no end to the kinds of change that organizations and their people have to deal with. Some of them are truly unpredictable, but most are predictable. Management changes, personnel changes, strategic priority changes, new products, services, etc. can all be foreseen and mot-r can adapt to with no downtime and no cost.
Even for those unpredictable changes, we have designed-in an enormous amount of configuration and customization capability to ease the pain of adapting.
Symbiotic Integrations
Some integrations truly add value to your technology, and some technology is integrated but provides minimal value. We call valuable integrations symbiotic as they make both solutions better while one-way or parasitic integrations favour one solution over the other, usually by just pulling data from the source and not adding anything useful in return.
mot-r does not undertake integrations lightly as we believe in only symbiotic integrations. Does the integrated application appear in the right part of your workflow, in a way that is seamless, obvious and helpful? Of course we offer a REST API to allow you to make your own connections, and we’re happy to assist with good practices if you want to tackle something yourself.
Our integration philosophy also balances the ability to provide deep integrations with a capability to swap foundational solutions easily and quickly without losing data, history, reporting and most importantly a rock solid audit trail of past activity.
AI Agent Orchestration
With the rapid pace of development in the genAI space, it’s clear that choosing only one platform is a risky proposition. Just as we do with our integration design, we have built a capability to enable you to use a portfolio of AI tools and invoke them when and where you need them.
And as with our integrations you can swap underlying LLMs and agents without code and without downtime to ensure you can remain flexible, adaptable and ready to take advantage of the latest developments.
